Samantha is a HCPC Registered Art Psychotherapist, Artist and Researcher in York, England.

She completed her undergraduate degree in Fine Art Photography and was awarded a First Class BA with Honours, before achieving a Master’s Degree in Art Psychotherapy Practice with Distinction. Samantha is registered to practice Art Psychotherapy with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the British Association of Art Therapists.

Samantha is currently a Doctoral student at York St John University where she is completing her PhD in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Mental Health.  Samantha is part of the York St John Counselling and Therapy Research Group, and Hauntology and Spectrality Research Group. She is also currently a Casual Academic Associate at York St John University, and freelance visiting lecturer and educator.
